Here are a few of our projects we have undertaken and completed...
Extension in Hilton
Windows & Doors
We were contracted by the client to construct a rear extension and to open up the existing kitchen and living room to make one large kitchen dining area. It was to include 6m long aluminium bi-folding doors and installation of the kitchen.
To match the bi-folds we also changed the 1st floor windows at the rear to match the bi-folds. Along with this there was also alterations to the main living space which included plastering, painting with new carpets and doors.
Our client in this project wanted several alterations made to their house. This included some re-configuration to the reception room but also include these ‘Art Deco’ windows and doors around the house which were designed by the client giving the property a unique look on the street.
Once the windows and doors had been installed we then rendered around them. It was then re-painted to make the windows and doors look like they were always there.
Brickwork
Garage
From building extensions to building retaining walls. We can do all kinds of brickwork and pointing, whether that means laying bricks or pointing the side of your property, its all in the scope we can provide for you.
This was a ‘New Build’ garage built for our client. Our client has a passion for cars and wanted his own hideaway where he could work on his cars at his leisure. This garage was built with a open plan roof area and also an ‘Inspection Pit’ installed.
The outside of the garage was block built with a render finish.
Shower Room
Barn Conversion
At Venture Building Services, we can also reconfigure are refresh you bathroom. For this client, her old shower room was dated and needed refreshing. We installed this as part of a loft conversion completed for her.
We were initially contracted by the client to complete a re-roof to this large barn. Once works were underway, the client was not happy with parts of the walls and the all the roof timbers needed replacing. The client’s plans were to make the barns into three separate holiday lets.
We were contracted to re-build any walls that needed re-building. We also had to dig out the existing floor area and install installation and concrete to re-level the floor. We installed new window and door openings and installed internal walls to divide up the barn.

Barn Conversion almost complete

We installed new timbers throughout the roof and re-tiled the roof.
This project was very much a ‘Design and Build’ project and we worked closely with the client completing costings along the way.
Extension
This extension was built for our client in Derby. They wanted a wrap around extension that not only gave them a fantastic family kitchen area but also gave them a TV room for the kids with a downstairs toilet and utility attached to the house.
With the fantastic Bi-fold doors, its brought the outside in which is perfect for socializing and relaxing on warm summer days.
